About you

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 4+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer with a focus on developer enablement.
- Deep expertise in AWS, especially with services like ECS, IAM, and microservices architectures.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or configuration formats like YAML and JSON.
- Experience building internal developer platforms, ideally using frameworks like Backstage.
- Strong understanding of PaaS principles and creating self-service tools.
- Experience developing modular, reusable infrastructure templates.
- Familiarity with automatic provisioning logic based on developer inputs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; fluent in English.
You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
- Build and evolve the internal developer platform for efficient self-service infrastructure and deployments.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
- Define and maintain Infrastructure as Code modules supporting multi-service deployments.
- Create reusable infrastructure templates for environments like ECS.
- Automate resource provisioning workflows with conditional logic.
- Develop self-service tools and dashboards to empower development teams.
- Contribute to platform evolution by integrating new cloud-native technologies.
- Collaborate with security teams to incorporate guardrails and standards.
- Support adoption of developer portal frameworks like Backstage.
- Drive automation initiatives to increase developer velocity and platform reliability.
